I started drinking smoothies every weekday morning replacing my breakfast. Since I started I have lost about 8 pounds and feel more energetic. The recipe here is simply what I had on hand at the time. Sometimes I substitute the O.J. with apple juice or grape juice. Whatever is available. I tried adding broccoli once. Prep Time: 2 Minutes
Frozen Bananas, 1 whole
Frozen Strawberries, about 4-6
Frozen Tropical fruit mix, about 1 cup
Cold Coconut water
carrots, 6 baby size
I have a NutriBullet. I use the large size container.
I first add the spinach and carrots. Next add the frozen fruits.
There is a fill line and I divide the coconut water, O.J., and milk in equal portions to the fill line.
Tighten the lid and wiz until smooth.
